Andrew is an Academic Librarian and Teaching Fellow at the University of Huddersfield. He also works part-time as a trainer, writer and runs a micro-publisher of affordable books for LIS professionals. He is particularly interested in information literacy, the use of active learning within library sessions, game based learning, and the use of play within adult education. Over recent years he has delivered conference papers, keynotes talks, and published articles on information literacy, active learning, game and play based learning, gamification and mobile learning in libraries, in addition to authoring books and book chapters. Many of his recent publications and talks can be found via the University of Huddersfield repository (http: //bit.ly/lilacAW). For the extra things he does outside his "day job", including running workshops, see http: //innovativelibraries.org.uk/
