In Chapter 5 the ways in which employment disputes may be resolved are described, including the role of ACAS and the procedures in the Employment Tribunal. Chapter 6 discusses the drafting of settlement agreements and the circumstances in which they are used. In Chapter 7 the important issue of managing change in employment law is reviewed in the context of the development of the Employment Rights Bill. Finally, in Chapter 8 the communication skills required by employment lawyers are reviewed, both for individual clients and also for representatives of employers.
