Synopsis
Tirant son nom d'une ligne du poème de Wallace Stevens «The Grey Room», le dernier livre d'Alec Soth est une exploration lyrique des limites de la représentation photographique. Bien que ces photographies couleur grand format soient réalisées partout dans le monde, elles ne concernent pas un lieu ou une population en particulier. For over a year I stopped traveling and photographing people. I barely took any pictures at all. When I returned to photography, I wanted to strip the medium down to its primary elements.
