Synopsis

Harry is a little boy who lives on a farm with his parents, his sister Susie and a variety of loveable farm animals. This story is based on the Lord Jesus' illustration in Matthew 23:37, and features Henrietta the hen and her three fluffy chicks. When Granda brings his dog Rex to the farm, the chicks are in danger, especially the smallest one who is too engrossed in chasing a butterfly to hear the warning clucks of his mother. The chick reaches Henrietta's wings just in time, and Granda uses this event to explain to Harry that the Lord Jesus is calling boys and girls to come to Him for shelter.

Ruth Chesney lives in Northern Ireland with her husband Samuel. As a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ since the age of 11, Ruth enjoys participating in the various activities of her local church. Ruth has written the Search For Truth Series for teenagers as well as this collection of picture books about Harry for younger children which have been charmingly illustrated by Mary Weatherup.
