Henry Stedman was born in Chatham, Kent, in England, and has been writing guide books for over two decades. A specialist in trekking, as well as writing Hadrian's Wall Path he has written the guide to walking the Coast to Coast trail - published by the British company Trailblazer. His other titles include guides to the entire 636-mile South-West Coast Path, Dales Way, Cleveland Way, North Downs Way. He is best known for his best selling guides to climbing Kilimanjaro and he also maintains the website www.climbmountkilimanjaro.com.
