Jamie Morgan Kane was born in the Isle of Man in 1954 and sent to an orphanage in Canada as a baby. From there, he was taken illegally into America and 'adopted' by a wealthy family into a difficult home. In 1983 his life was turned upside down when he was arrested following the death of a man at his home in the US. Fearing that he would be held responsible, Jamie took a deal for a crime he did not commit. Jamie entered the American prison system and was to stay there for 34 years with stints in San Quentin, Folsom State Prison and the notorious Deuel Vocational Institution in California. He would rub shoulders with some of the world's most infamous serial killers such as Charles Manson and Edmund Kemper as well as gangs like the Aryan Brotherhood and Mexican cartels. In 2017, Jamie was released and promptly deported by Donald Trump. Arriving back in the UK, it was then Jamie could start to research his early childhood and piece together his life. Jamie obtained an official birth certificate in 2022 on his 68th birthday and is now an author of two books 34 Years In Hell and Behind The Granite Walls.
