President Ambo Hussien isn't just any leader, he's a junta, a military dictator whose obsession with power overwhelms him, and will never
acquiesce any dissent.
In his attempt to pull a political stunt, President Ambo Hussein announced a transition to democracy in his Silver Jubilee speech, a move which precipitated other political players including the President's staunch critics to indicate interest in the presidential seat.
In a bid to secure the presidential seat, he conjured up Code Z, tasked with taking out politicians perceived to be a threat to his presidential seat, and sadly, the resulting bloodshed provoked a reaction from the International Community and even the Arab League.
Aasim whom the President considers his nemesis was the President's second son, whom he sent to Europe to study military intelligence and strategy, Aasim returned home a changed person and his new perception of life is in sharp contrast to his dad's perception of leadership.
The President's Uncle, the only adult in the room was scapegoated and banished. This, coupled with the killing of his stepson, Sadeq, resulted in a face-off with his son, Aasim, whom he already finds insufferable.
The politicians, the military and the international community couldn't shake President Ambo's stronghold as his quest to stay in power obviously became a sickness of the mind. Ismaila a native of Kitan was actively following the atrocities of his president with grief.
Deciding to leave Tunisia, he brought with him the Arab Spring to challenge his president's rulership using every resource at his disposal. Even though the international community has promised a military response to the gas attack on civilians, Ismaila is in a hurry to see the back of this dictator before
the military response begins.
This Junta's tale by Boniface Ossai exposes the intrigues, the terror, the realities, and the obsession surrounding dictatorial regimes
in the Middle East.
