Navigator Sayen Lee investigates, but she's taken hostage. Jas must free her friend and find out what's been happening on Earth before more lives are lost.

Underworld
Shadows have invaded Earth, but no one's listening.
Disguised as the victims they killed, hostile aliens are walking among Earth's population unnoticed. They've infiltrated the government, and they're building Shadow traps, ready to launch a full-scale assault.
Jas doesn't know who is friend and who is foe, but she tries to enlist the help of society's rejects, the underworlders, to defeat the invading aliens. If Jas and the underworlders don't stop them, the Shadows will overrun Earth.

Burned
The Transgalatic Council is humankind's final hope to defeat the Shadows and rid Earth of their menace. But Jas needs evidence to prove that the aliens have infiltrated human society.
She thinks she's captured a Shadow, but she also fears that she may have made a terrible mistake. To know for sure, she must steal a Shadow scanner.
Jas must prove to the Council that the alien invasion is happening before Earth burns.

Trapped
Jas and her friends have made it to a sanctuary, but Shadows surround them. The aliens have blocked deep space transmissions, and Jas can't reach the Transgalactic Council to warn them of the alien menace.
Can she find a way to send a message? Can she persuade the Council to come to their aid?
If Jas and her allies fail to contact their alliesl, the galactic empire is in peril.

J.J. Green is a British-Australian science fiction author who believes the science in science fiction includes zoology, botany, genetics, evolutionary theory, social science and psychology. Her characters are real people living with the challenges of existence in future societies, and some are kickass sci fi heroines too. Her series include Space Colony One, Star Mage Saga, Shadows of the Void and Carrie Hatchett, Space Adventurer. J.J. was born in London's East End within the sound of the church bells of St. Mary Le Bow, Cheapside, which makes her a bona fide Cockney. She first left the U.K. as a young adult and has lived in Australia, Laos and Taiwan. She currently lives aboard her starship in Cambridge, UK, with her ship's cat, called Black Cat, the cabin boy and the chief engineer.
