Hardback. Etat : As New. Ron Embleton, Mike Western (illustrateur). Hard Cover. Book Palace Books April 2026. Deluxe collectors edition Limited to 400 copies worldwide Limited Edition. Full Colour illustrations. The complete full colour strips from TV Express Weekly presented for the first time in a deluxe premium hard cover collection. The long-awaited reprints of the complete Biggles adventures by Ron Embleton and Mike Western from the pages of TV Express Weekly. James Bigglesworth, that most iconic of aviation adventurers, was created by W.E. Johns for the first issue of Popular Flying magazine, published in April 1932, and popular he certainly was and still is! In April 1960, Granada began showing its now barely remembered Biggles TV programme, which meant that the character could now legitimately appear in TV Express Weekly, some five months later. It began as the cover feature for the first few issues, and was drawn by the great Ron Embleton. When Embleton left the strip, the art was taken over by Mike Western and it moved to the interior pages. Here we present all the stories from TV Express Weekly and an additional 8-page story by Embleton from the 1962 TV Express Annual. Chocks away! 108 pages. Size: 8¾" x 11¼" (220mm x 290mm). (1.2).
