"I absolutely loved his book. Many of the locations alongside their descriptions I recognised, and this really helped capture the rawness of the story being told. From ‘Prison to Purpose’ - the tagline, it's clear what the book is about, and you know what you are about to read. Every inch is crammed with the authentic, real truth about the circumstances you faced and how you tried to navigate your way through these challenges. It also highlights some hurt, sadness and the reality of unspoken issues within our community that clearly have a detrimental impact on families.

Factors such as poverty, one-parent families, vulnerability, instability, and addiction, to name a few. It's clear that the family upheaval, instability, lack of guidance or authority at times lead to you fighting for affection from the streets, recognition from the elders and love and security (albeit false).

The words at the start of the book are so profound 'I always felt the need to fight to be recognised'. This certainly rang true throughout the book."
