Jonathan Griffiths has been Lead Pastor at The Metropolitan Bible Church, Ottawa since 2016. A native of Toronto, Jonathan lived in the UK for many years, where he most recently served on the staff of the Proclamation Trust in London. He studied theology at the University of Oxford and holds a PhD in New Testament studies from the University of Cambridge. He is the author of a number of books, including Hebrews and Divine Speech  (Bloomsbury T&T Clark, 2014), Teaching 2 Timothy  (Christian Focus, 2014), and Preaching in the New Testament  (IVP, 2017). Jonathan is deeply committed to expository preaching and loves to train and mentor others in Word ministry. He serves on the council of The Gospel Coalition Canada. Jonathan and his wife, Gemma, have three children and live on the south side of Ottawa.
