G. D. Howard lives in the Cotswolds with his wife Linda and their working cocker, Molly. It is a place where he is surrounded by the beauty of nature, no matter which season it is. It is a wonderful inspiration and, in some part, has helped create this story, although thankfully the wolves and aurochs are part of his imagination. He is the author of The Legend of the Green Wolf Rider and its sequel The Green Wolf Rider … Rides Again
