Synopsis

Working in Germany in the early 80's gave me the opportunity to visit several of the vast numbers of old Nazi concentration camps in which some seventeen million people of all nationalities and creeds were systematically murdered. In a highly charged emotional courtroom in Tel Aviv, shortly before he was executed. Adolf Eichmann the former head of the Nazi extermination programme delivered the following chilling unrepentant statement. ' I will leap into my grave laughing because the feeling that I have five million human beings on my conscience is for me a source of extraordinary satisfaction. To sum it all up I must say that I regret nothing.' After he was hanged his body was cremated and his ashes dumped in the Red Sea to prevent any possibility of Neo Nazi groups visiting his grave. This was my journey.
