The Secrets of My Spectrum offers a rare and powerful glimpse into the world of autism—told from the inside out. Written at just 16 years old, the author shares his personal journey with honesty, insight, and humor, challenging the way people understand neurodiversity.
Unlike most books about autism, which are written from an outside perspective, this one takes readers directly into the experience. From early struggles to fit in to the small victories that shaped his path, the author reveals what it’s truly like to navigate the world as an autistic person. He describes his transformation from a non-talker to a teenager who blends in, while also shedding light on the ongoing challenges that remain.
This book is for anyone looking to understand autism on a deeper level—whether they are on the spectrum, love someone who is, or simply want to learn more. At the end of each chapter, dedicated note pages provide space for readers to reflect, jot down thoughts, and record personal experiences. These notes can be shared with teachers, caregivers, or professionals and can also serve as a valuable resource for autism assessments.
The Secrets of My Spectrum breaks down stereotypes and shows that autism isn’t just a diagnosis—it’s an integral part of who someone is. Eye-opening, relatable, and full of heart, this book encourages readers to embrace differences and see the strength in neurodiversity.
Perfect for all ages.

Callum Knight was diagnosed with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) when he was thirteen years old. When he read books about autism and watched television shows, he felt so many things about being autistic were left out. At sixteen, he decided to write about his experiences, in the hope that it could help other kids like him to know they are not alone and give them something to show their family, teachers or carers. Callum lives with his family in Kent, UK. He is currently writing children's picture books about Autism/ASD.
