In 1996, while living in Berlin, he and his wife spoke with two music critics from Paris. 30 years later, their conversation is published in full for the first time by Hermits United, in a book authored by Karol Beffa.

Karol Beffa teaches musicology at the École normale supérieure in Paris. His Arvo Pärt, in both English and French, as well as The Wings of Creation (translated from Les Coulisses de la création, Flammarion, 2015), are published by Hermits United in 2026.
