Story Outline:

DeBug is a clever fellow with four hands of golden yellow.
The bug cracks codes, can be grumpy, and is often cross and jumpy.
Some time ago, next to a louse, he had learned to click a mouse.
He became an I.T. scholar who is so hot underneath his collar.
Puzzles buzz on his outside once they leave his inside side.
He taps on smart keys and then flits to fetch his treasured knitting kit.

Story Opening:

Fussbut's school bell chimed a chime. It was "Teach the Teacher" time.

The Fussbut Children's School Committee had called in DeBug Knitty-Nitty.

DeBug works with Doctor It at Dot Plot’s deep down Puzzling Pit.

His brain train works out many puzzles while the doctor sleeps and guzzles.

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

Eiry Rees Thomas grew up in Wales/U.K. among a creative family embracing a poet, calligrapher/sculptor, illustrators, and a cartoonist. The coal-mining community where she spent her formative years was mostly Welsh-speaking, with the English language being introduced to the school curriculum at the age seven level. The musicality of the Welsh language is apparent in the author's unique lyrical voice, described in Welsh as "telynegol" or harp-like, true to her Celtic roots. Her love of writing bilingually from an early age was given expression following a serious accident. This ended her career as a public health practitioner, peripatetic teacher, and medical translator. Her experiences in the field of child development and the privilege of having worked with children and families with additional needs contribute to her work as an author and curriculum content creator.
