A time to ponder one’s life. Why not write about that life, and so began the story of Doug, an ambitious youngster, growing up in a family supported by the forest industry. Doug along with 4 of his five siblings joined the multitudes who earned a living cutting down trees for fun and profit. Doug spent over thirty years with a number of forest companies around the province, always looking for ways to make improvements in the work place and to make a better life for his family.
