The story begins on a dreary Thanksgiving Day in the beautiful Victorian house of the Logan family, located in the upper-class neighborhood of Concord, Massachusetts. That night, the Logans welcomed their new son, born two weeks early with a distinctive birthmark on one of his arms. They named Andrew and called him Andy. Impressed by the perfection of his birthmark, they thought it was a simple sign of good fortune without imagining that it was the mark of the chosen one to save the realm of Ethernia (A parallel magical world, which secret entrance can be opened using a music box hidden in the attic of his house.)
A few weeks before his 16th birthday, on a Halloween night, Andy receives the unexpected visit of two dwarfs from the realm of Ethernia, the same ones he believed were the product of his imagination(They came for a short time before when he was 7 years old and left before people believe little Andy was crazy, since he always wanted to play alone). They’ve returned to start preparing him to face his new destiny that was about to begin on the night of his 16th birthday. So, helped by Chester (his sixteen-year-old dog and gatekeeper), they unburied a mysterious leather bag from the rose garden of his house, which was buried there by the same dog the night Andy was born. They found a note (Riddle) and a small black box inside the bag. On the day of Andy’s 16th birthday, after he and his two small friends had solved the riddle on the note, they opened the small black box and found a golden key. The key that opened an old music box hidden in the attic of the Logans' house.
Inside this music box are the two enchanted rightful rulers of Ethernia and the magic words that open the portal to this fantastic world. Follow Andy in this amazing and magical adventure, where he faces mythical creatures, solves difficult riddles, and has his first romantic experience. All this in his quest to beat the evil Zolthar, break the spell of the music box, and restore harmony and peace in Ethernia.
