A thoughtful story about a boy who felt that he was different and alone, as many children do for various reasons. That all changed when the stars who watched over him decided to help him by showing that just as they all shine differently, everyone is different and that is ok. They put on a magical display to show that although they were all different they were good together. Even the Sun took part by dimming it's light so that stars could be seen in the daytime. Everyone can shine brightly in their own unique way, we all are who we are
This book is best enjoyed by children who are comfortable with imaginative, symbolic storytelling. It may not be the best choice for children who might feel confused or disappointed if a story is magical rather than literal.
