Synopsis

This isn’t the end. This is the beginning of everything that matters.

I had a great life. A successful business. A dream home. A woman who loved me.

And still, my marriage was falling apart. Not because I didn’t love her, but because I didn’t know how. I thought love was enough. It turned out, it wasn’t.

Before You Go is the story of what happened when I stopped trying to fix my wife and finally decided to work on myself. It’s not a theory. It’s lived.

Ten lessons. Ten turning points. Three years of real work in therapy. I wrote this for every man who feels stuck. For every woman who feels unseen. For every couple still in love, but no longer sure how to show it.

If you’ve ever thought: I love them, so why can’t I get this right? This book is for you.

À propos de l'auteur

Luca Maggiora is a successful entrepreneur, speaker and founder of several iconic nightclubs and private members’ clubs in London. His most recent venture is the revival of Tramp, one of the world’s most legendary private clubs, originally opened in 1969. Through vision and determination, Luca transformed Tramp into one of the most respected and exclusive member clubs operating today.

After two decades of building and running high-profile venues, Luca’s most profound journey began not in the boardroom but within his marriage. When love felt like it was slipping away, he turned to therapy. Over three years of deep emotional work, he discovered that the hardest thing for a man to do isn’t building businesses – it’s staying fully present in love.

Before You Go is the story of that transformation: a raw, honest account of how one man stopped trying to fix his partner and finally learned to show up – for her and for himself.

Luca lives between London and Medellín with his wife Cristina, who remains his greatest teacher.
