Synopsis

Donkey was just chillin’ —
when Snake came slitherin’,
mouth wide open —
a total misunderstanding!
Left Donkey frightened,
in a well, cryin’.
“What’s gonna happen?”
A problem needs solving...
In this joyful retelling of a folktale, children learn that fear is natural -- but panic doesn't have to take over. With humour, heart, and a chant to carry in your chest, this story reminds us all: bravery begins when you pause, breathe, and rise.
From award-winning oral storyteller and rapper Alim Kamara comes a vibrant, read-aloud tale about resilience, calm thinking, and rising above fear — all wrapped in rhythm, rhyme, and fun!
