Days That Are Done and Pioneering in Southwest Texas Two accounts of the brave men and women who helped to build a state and nation The days of the 'Wild West' have become iconic and have made an indelible impression on American culture and in the imaginations of people -young and old- of nations across the globe. Nevertheless, this turbulent era endured for a comparatively short period of historical time.
