Synopsis
What if a simple phone call could take you farther than you ever imagined?
When Mike receives a late-night call from his astronomer friend Ben about a mysterious object appearing in the sky, neither of them can know what is about to unfold. A strange comet has been observed approaching Earth but there may be far more to it than anyone realises.
Meanwhile, an ordinary day in London takes a terrifying turn when Andy is suddenly swallowed by the ground. Expecting to find himself in an underground bunker, he instead discovers an enormous maze of corridors, mysterious technology, and a world that seems to exist far beyond anything he understands.
His phone has no signal. Doors appear and disappear. Strange inhabitants vanish before his eyes. And then he discovers something far more disturbing: evidence that other people have been brought into this impossible place before him and not all of them survived.
When Andy encounters a mysterious control centre and its enigmatic Co-ordinator, he learns that his arrival was no accident. He has been brought there for a purpose.
But what is the purpose?
Who or what is controlling this strange hidden world? Why are people being taken from different parts of Earth? And what does Andy have to do with a mysterious technology capable of transporting matter from one place to another?
As reality becomes increasingly difficult to separate from the impossible, Andy must uncover the truth and find a way home before he becomes trapped in a world he was never meant to discover.
