Michelle grew up in the American Midwest and has lived in Australia for over twenty years. She has been writing professionally since 2000. Her short stories have been published in the Australian magazines That's Life Fast Fiction and Family Circle under the pen name Renee Dunn. Her work has also appeared in the American titles True Story and True Confessions. Her most recent article, ""Writing Trash, Writing Tech, Writing My Novel,"" is featured in volume 4 of The Emerging Writer. Michelle adores cats and dogs, swims, practices yoga and Pilates, and wishes she could go horseback riding more often. She recently earned her PADI Advanced Open Water diver certification, and loves scuba diving in Sydney and Indonesia.
