Synopsis

Flesh-eating fish that strip to the living bone; sacred birds whose blood turns to gold. And a man in a balloon who vanishes into thin air in pursuit of a giant vengeful condor. Like the glass statue of the weaver fish in the centre of Madregalo, the many strands of this tale are woven together ingeniously and unexpectedly. A novel about friendship and morality, epigenetics, mathematics, linguistics, aviation, condors, gloomy lift shafts, the tornado-proof Reckles Texan hat, and more.

À propos de l?auteur

ABC Darian is an historian, and believed to be Timothy Bystander, who was exposed as the late Daniel Halfpenny, who is survived by the alias Robert Edeson, a graduate of the universities of Western Australia and Cambridge, who is conjectured to be Madalena Letterby, but she is almost certainly ABC Darian.
