Sally Gold was born into a state orphanage then foster care. She was adopted at the young age of eight then raised in Los Angeles and is a proud graduate of UCLA.For over three decades, Sally served in the FBI and counterintelligence, completing missions in places like Washington D.C., Israel, Iraq, and Syria. Along the way, she navigated the challenges of being a single mother to two wonderful sons. 'In the System' is a story of sacrifice and resilience resulting in finding one's own path to self-acceptance in a world few get to see.Through her writing, Sally shares her journey of survival, encouraging others to overcome adversity despite its various forms.
