When three children disappear from a crowd of thousands, how are there no witnesses...?
At twelve years of age, Eric Donahue saw the monster who stole the children but spent his life being disregarded.
Forty years later, Eric is drawn back to the beach and the mysterious tragedy of that day.
Following the signs that only he sees, the beach beckons him to solve the mystery of the disappearance.
But when Eric stumbles into the decades-long web from his past, he discovers that he must gain the help from those around him to face the monster who stole the children once and for all...

G R Armstrong has been a writer all his life but The Memory of the Beach would be considered his debut novel. Born in Canada to a Canadian mother and an Australian father he has lived most of his life in Australia. After leaving Adelaide in the 90's to live in Sydney to follow his rock and roll dreams he returned in the early 2000's to be near his family. From Sydney he toured in bands throughout the world and appeared on over twenty albums with various rock bands, none of whom were particularly successful. Writing is now his passion.
