D. Alan Petersen spent his formative years in New South Wales. In the late 1980s, he moved to Western Australia. There he found a wife and soulmate, and came to realise the veracity of Voltaire's assertion that: "Paradise is where I am." His paradise is located at their home in Rockingham, Western Australia.Previous titles by D. Alan Petersen are Tarkine Mist, a crime thriller set in Tasmania, and his philosophical memoir, Why I Don't Like Sex, and Other Conundrums.
