A little girl Millie endures the unhappy separation of her parents, whilst trying to make them hear and understand her. Millie escapes to her magical world with her friendly puppets, Freddie and Daisy to help her make sense of her world. The book offers a foundation for understanding and a tool to help children cope by easing their fears and anxieties. It aims to normalise the difficult experience of parental separation by emphasising that the child is an important part of the process and deserves to have their voice heard.
