Eileen Cummings, an Elder of the Rembarrnga and Ngalakan people of Central Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, Australia, holds an honorary doctorate from Charles Darwin University. Eileen was stolen from her family when she was four years old. She grew up to advise four chief ministers in the Northern Territory government. She was lead plaintiff in The Northern Territory Stolen Generation Class Action. This book is her story.

Jana Anvari holds a PhD in archaeology from Flinders University, South Australia. Her primary research is the interactions between people and the built environment at early farming sites in the Eastern Mediterranean. She is passionate about facilitating the voices of women's experiences under challenging conditions. She deeply appreciates the opportunity to work with Eileen and Claire on I am the Daughter they Stole.

Claire Smith AO is Professor in Archaeology at Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia. Accompanied by her husband, Gary Jackson, and son, Jimmy Smith, she has worked closely with the Barunga, Manyallaluk and Wugularr communities every year since 1990.
