People don't notice Jerry. If someone bumps into him, they don't say sorry. If someone waves, it's to somebody behind him. He never gets picked last for sports teams, but that's because he never gets picked at all. It's like he's invisible. That is, until Molly comes along. Molly asks Jerry his opinion. She shares things with him, she laughs with him and she sees him. Jerry soon realizes he can pay her gift forward, as there are plenty of other kids who feel invisible too. In today's busy world, there are lots of people who feel like they're on the outside looking in. This picture book is written for them, to show them that there are people out there who will see them, who will recognize their talents, and see how worthy they are. Bestselling author Adam Wallace (How to Catch an Elf) was inspired to write Invisible Jerry based on his own experiences as a shy kid growing up. This story comes straight from the heart.

Adam Wallace is a New York Times bestselling author, who has had one of his books be a question on Jeopardy, and has also had one of his books read at the White House! Adam enjoys writing more than anything, but he likes drawing too, and doesn't mind long walks on the beach at sunset. Adam's previous books include How to Catch a Leprechaun and How to Catch an Elf (both New York Times bestsellers), How to Catch the Easter Bunny (read at the 2017 White House Easter Egg Roll), The Vanilla Slice Kid and SPARK.
Giuseppe Poli loved making drawings, stories and games as a kid. He grew up and went on a long, wandering adventure into computer graphics, games, feature film visual effects and IT, and then realized that he missed making his own stories. And that's when he stumbled into the world of children's picture books. Now not-so-young Giuseppe is back doing what he loves best: making drawings and stories, and hopefully delighting people for many more years to come. He is the illustrator of five previous picture books: Hootie the Cutie, Fearless with Dad, Oliver's Grumbles, The Wheelchair Adventure and Baby Band.

Hardcover. Etat : new. Poli, Giuseppe (illustrateur). Hardcover. People dont notice Jerry. If someone bumps into him, they dont say sorry. If someone waves, its always to somebody behind him. If he makes a joke, no one laughs. He never gets picked last for sports teams but thats because he never gets picked at all. Its like hes invisible. Until Molly comes along. Molly asks Jerry his opinion. She shares things with him. She laughs with him. She sees him. And its then that Jerry realizes he can pay her gift forward, as there are plenty of other kids who feel invisible too. Best-selling author Adam Wallace was inspired to write Invisible Jerry after hearing children talk about never being passed the ball in sports games. Or being at a party where no one spoke to them. Or who felt their opinion didnt matter. In todays busy, cliquey world, there are lots of people (kids and adults) who can feel like theyre on the outside looking in. This is a picture book with humour and heart, written for them to show them that there are people out there who will see them, who will recognize their talents, and see how worthy they are. Its also for Adam himself the shy kid who never felt brave enough to put himself out there, but who was lucky enough to find people who lit him up and made him realise that he had plenty to offer and that, if he was patient, the right people would see him. People dont notice Jerry. If someone bumps into him, they dont say sorry. If he makes a joke, no one laughs. He never gets picked last for teams but thats because he never gets picked at all. Its like hes invisible. Until Molly arrives. This is a picture book with heart for everyone who has ever felt like theyre on the outside looking in.
