Dr Melissa Harte was an experienced psychologist and presenter, passionate about dealing with psychological issues from a whole-of-person perspective before her untimely death in 2021. She ran a thriving private practice offered training, supervision and professional development within an Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) framework. She helped establish the Australian Institute for Emotion Focused Therapy (AIEFT) to ensure a safe, ethical and research-based home for client-centred healing practices in Australia and a supportive community for both practitioners and clients.
