Karin Schaefer lives in country New South Wales, Australia. She is author of the pony books, Dawn Ride and Winning. Karin is intrigued by the relationship between humans and horses. Many people around the world share their lives with horses, as does Karin herself. To some, they are creatures of beauty and refinement, superior athleticism or enormous monetary value. To others, they are healers, spiritual guides, creatures of the mythos or simply friends.
