Synopsis

Comedy, tragedy, satire and farce... its all here in this new collection of short and medium plays, eminently appealing and suitable for all devotees of drama. These original scripts originated from interest based tertiary education classes, with students preparing to be teachers. The variety also serves as a stimulus for drama writers, who very often need to see and hear various influences and other works in order to progress their own. Snippets of dialogue and crucial dramatic turning points can sometimes show the way... and, incidentally, serve as useful acting exercises. Growing out of discussions, improvisation sessions, scripting exercises and production presentations, these scripts are immensely useful for small-theatre groups.
