J. E. (Joe) McKnight was born in a small Alberta farming community. He started his schooling in Ardrossan where he developed a love for storytelling. His passion for writing continued to grow throughout his school years. In 2004, while upgrading his English 30, he stumbled upon a writer’s circle (organized by the Writers Foundation of Strathcona County) that offered the support and encouragement he needed. He continues to grow in his writing, which includes poetry, short stories, and novels. As the current president of the Writers Foundation of Strathcona County, he supports the writing journey of fellow writers and looks forward to many future literary endeavors. Although time travel adventures are his forte, he is also an accomplished poet and artist. Joe lives with his wife, Robyn, in Gibbons AB.
