Fluffy the Persian cat knew the minute she met Levi—the friendly mouse who used a special wheelchair—that they would become friends and, even, family. Making their temporary home together in a warehouse, they’d been preparing to make their way to find and help Levi’s mouse family from a dangerous mouser. Travel with Fluffy and Levi as they make their way to Levi’s old home. Along the journey they’ll face dangers and obstacles. But, most importantly, they’ll learn that everything is possible with a little Help from Friends.

Alison Neuman lives in Alberta, Canada, where she works as a freelance writer. Her debut novel Ice Rose: A Young Adult Spy Novel, a YA book integrating her love of gadgetry with the broad imaginative license afforded by the secret agent genre, features a female protagonist in a wheelchair and was published in 2010 by Fireside Publications. Alison’s work has appeared in MacEwan Today, Westword, and the Edmonton Journal, and on three tracks of the CD release, Outside the Window. She is also credit on the script for Cheryl Kaye Tardif’s screenplay adaptation of Whale Song. Alison was honoured in 2011 for her human rights work in advocating for the rights of persons experiencing disabilities and in 2013 she won the Glenrose Courage Award. One of her greatest achievements was the founding of Camp Mission Access, an integrative camp for children from all walks of life—both with and without disabilities. Her memoir, Searching for Normal, was released in 2013, and her play, The Sunset Syndrome was selected for Walterdale Theatre’s 2016 “From Cradle to Stage New Works Festival.” Alison is currently working towards her Master of Arts in Integrated Studies at Athabasca University, and is working on her next YA novel. www.alisonneuman.ca Katherine Restoueix was born prematurely in St-Lambert, Québec, one cold December day. This is why she lives life to the fullest! From diction to dance classes, babysitting, cadets and military training, choirs, miscellaneous jobs and courses, to theatre plays - she’s a well-rounded person with spunk and lots of personality. She learned to draw through the influence of her dad, and as such she drew most of her school works by hand. However, it was joining Les Pinceaux de l’Amitié that helped her discover her love for acrylic painting. “Painting is creating and it’s a bit of oneself in each work; I love my babies!” She thanks Alison and her publisher again for giving her the opportunity to be part of this journey.
