Synopsis
David was leaving his problems back home. For four days he would not have to endure the endless circular conversations with Sarah. His job search could be put on hold. And, even though the financial problems would persist upon his return, he would at least have a temporary reprieve from the stress of having no money. Life had always presented him with more questions than answers. Would he be able to keep his promise to his friend? Would any of this ever make sense? Would he be able to understand why he was asked to do this favor? And, how could he reconcile his choices with Sarah? He had every rational reason to not make this journey. Born in Iowa, Jeff Keenan now lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is also the author of "The Main". His work was the inspiration for Evan James’ "Remember the Main: From Riceville to Riga".
