Writer and designer Natalia Ilyin teaches regularly at RISD, the Maine School of Art, and the University of Washington. She owns a graphic design consultancy, and specializes in the unique communications problems of nonprofit organizations. Her articles on the effects of design and media have been published widely; her first book, Blonde Like Me: The Roots of the Blonde Myth, was published by Simon and Schuster in 2000.
