Synopsis

Support Structures is an ongoing co-production between Céline Condorelli and Gavin Wade that started in 2003.
It is conceived as a manual critic for reception support structures in the cultural realm. The book features contributions by artists, writers, and thinkers belonging to different areas of knowledge and consists of an inventory of existing or possible developments of architectural and artistic practices.
First published in 2009, Support Structures was re-published in 2014 with the support of Pirelli HangarBicocca on the occasion of Celine Condorelli's solo show "bau bau" curated by Andrea Lissoni (11 December - 5 May 2015).
