What does it mean to be old? This book is for people who have lived long enough to have reached their senior years. Be warned: this book will not reverse those years. The author, Bob Wolley, asks the questions of “who am I” and “what should I do with the time I have left?” The book is not a lecture on how to live, but rather about presenting the situation, and pointing to a better way. For each of us, age is uncharted territory: I’ve never been old before, so how should I behave, how deal with the loss of physical powers, with cognitive powers, with the loss of a loved one, with illness? Wolley explains with an ever-present, optimistic point-of-view that physical age has little to do with the youth that remains in one’s heart. Every day is the beginning of our lives. With a foreword by singer and recording artist Pat Boone.
