Synopsis
Jake Brody, unexpectedly returning from a business trip, stumbles upon his wife’s infidelity with his lifelong friend and business partner. The discovery results in his walking away from the company he founded that manufactures robotic mining vehicles- leaving it in the hands of the adulterers. A chance meeting with Dr. Alexander Demos, an eccentric college professor and uncle through marriage, awakens a new passion to join Demos in a Quixotic quest for the truth about the origins of our civilization. Laced with betrayal, revenge, corporate conspiracy and sexual intrigue, the story pits Demos and Brody against the dark forces behind academia and religious institutions to thwart their expedition to Antarctica and its potentially world-changing revelations. The conflict turns deadly, when a staggering discovery sets off a desperate race to reveal the truth to the world before they will be murdered. Woven into their frantic struggle, Demos reveals actual astonishing clues of our origins left to us by our ancient ancestors.
