A practical and provocative book packed with the lessons your Dad never taught you about living life to the fullest, free from addiction and other self-destructive behaviors. From "Growing Up Male," to "Men and Their Children," Game Plan tells it the way only a man sees it and only as a man can hear it.
Identifies male-specific traits and patterns that often prevent men from seeking help and offers practical techniques and exercises that address the unique challenges men face in the ever-changing modern world. Offers simple, easy-to-implement action steps for positive life changes. Exercises in the book can be used for self-study or as part of professionally led group or individual therapeutic work. Useful for spouses or partners of men, couples or anyone who wants to better understand the lives of men. The authors have more than sixty years of combined experience counseling men. Tackles the most important issues men face in their lives, but seldom talk about, and provides a readily accessible set of tools to help them on their path to recovery and self-change. All three authors are recognized speakers and trainers who regularly present both nationally and internationally on the topics of men's issues, motivational interviewing, addiction/recovery, and personal growth.
