Synopsis
“Tuss felt a heretofore-unknown spirit, buried inside his innermost being, awakening for the very first time. He felt the hunter’s ferocious instinct exploding out of his inner self. His heritage as a dragonfly was coming to life, and it was indescribable. It was so much more than anything he'd felt playing any game. With this fantastic new sense of himself sharpening his mind, he was able to put the situation into perspective. This was what the butterfly had warned us about…he knew at that exact moment that every aspect of his peaceful existence had just been changed forever. He was frightened by what he felt. He wasn’t sure if he should fight it or not but danger was upon him and he'd no choice but to act as his nature demanded.” Courage… Teamwork… Trust… The days of peace at the Fen are at an end. The time for fun and games has passed. Shon is the truly blessed husband of his wonderful wife, Bren. Bren generously supplied Shon with the wonderful illustrations that grace these pages. Together they live with a pair of merry little hounds that help them manage a summer camp in Carroll County, Maryland. They labor away the morning hours at various and sundry locations belonging to the Carroll County Public Library, a truly fantastic organization. During the daytime hours they shrug off the mundane role of custodian and become EXECUTIVE CAMP DIRECTORS, which in truth is the same mundane role of custodian BUT, with a fancier title. DragonTree-The Battle for DragonTree is Shon's second published novel, and his plans include several more in the series with the next book being, DragonTree-Beyond DragonTree. His proverbial tarsi are crossed.
