Synopsis

In a series of poems quiet but savage--in the many senses of that word--Gabriella Klein lays bare the prospects of an individual in times of ecological disaster and personal and political upheaval. These poems are gyroscopic, telescopic, microscopic. Insects and universes each are as grand and intimate as the other. GABRIELLA KLEIN'S poems have appeared in Conduit, jubilat, A Handsome Journal, FIELD, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of fellowships from the Vermont Studio Center and the Santa Barbara Poetry Conference. With her family, she resides on California's Central Coast.
