Having mastered the Numbers 0 through 12, your child is now ready for the next step; namely, understanding the Numbers 13 through 30, as well as more number-related concepts. Though 13 through 30 may seem like an unusual range of numbers, it has been determined that having an understanding of the numbers up to 30 allows children to more easily understand the numbers beyond 30.Some additional concepts introduced in this book are:- the difference between cardinal numbers and ordinal numbers;- the introduction of odd and even numbers;- the concept of pairs;- the concept of grouping; and

Dr. Tino is the pen name of Ernest R. Lanza, Ed. D., a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with Certifications in • School Psychology • Counseling • Guidance, and • Elementary education Dr. Lanza earned his B.A. (With Distinction) in Elementary Education from Arizona State University, his M.A. in Guidance and Counseling from Arizona State University, and his Ed. D. in Counseling and Guidance from Ball State University. Over the course of his 40 years as a clinician and educator, Dr. Lanza discovered that he has a knack for teaching children of elementary school age and younger. In keeping with this realization, he founded a company called T-inovations (a play on his pen name), and has written and published 15 books that specifically serve this age range. Beyond his accomplishments as an educator and psychologist, Dr. Lanza is also an, inventor, a composer, and an entrepreneur.
