Synopsis

Tap into the wisdom and creativity of Your Heart - to heal, to inspire, to transform. In a series of hand-stamped letters addressed to Dear You, the loving but sometimes cranky character Your Heart waxes philosophical on topics ranging from heartache to courage, friendship to love. "Jacquelyn Fletcher's Dear You collection is at once both vibrant and ethereal. Her artwork provides its audience with an opportunity for reflection, contemplation and a soft, soulful, healing look at themselves. I myself have one of her pieces from this collection hanging above my desk at work. It provides me with a space to gaze when I need an extra lift." - Heather McElhatton, host of A Beautiful World, and author of Pretty Little Mistakes " I so enjoyed and was moved by the letters in Dear You - searing and soothing all at once." - Johanna Rian, Ph.D., Mayo Clinic Dolores Jean Lavins Center for Humanities in Medicine "Jacquelyn possesses an incredible ability through her art and her words to capture the universal experience of heartache and the sometimes difficult, but always worthwhile, journey of healing. The message of loving and honoring oneself and one's heart is an important message for us all." - Shannon Barry, MSSW, Executive Director, Dais: Domestic Abuse Intervention Services Jacquelyn B. Fletcher is an award-winning author and speaker. She's co-creator and host of the Healing Words television show and a founding faculty member of the Creative Writing at the Bedside program, both administered by the Mayo Clinic Dolores Jean Lavins Center for Humanities in Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota. Dug herself out of debt. And recovered from a broken heart again and again. Her books and projects all aim to support healing, encourage empowerment, and inspire transformation.
