Synopsis

The endless world of Art is full of signs and mysteries which their discovering from different aspects can open new cultural way in our today's life. In the other words, discovering and the use of these signs in the way of art sociology can help the cultural forming and direct reflection from cultural and social way of community. This book has tried with the merge of visual art and cinema and with the usage of visual elements 'line', as one of the visual elements and mis-en-scene as frame in the eyes of cinematographer in analysis image's way study the techniques of cinema artists of Iran and south Korea as a cultural window which use these factors to make their movies. Using each type of lines, which have their own meaning in visual Arts can penetrate thinking and behavioral atmosphere of culture. In this book, after describing line and defining it types and also describing mis-en-scene and it's components, I try to have a comparative look on some plan of Asghar Farhadi, Nasser Taghvai, Park Chan-Wook, Im Kwon-taek works.

Maryam Haddadi is Experienced Graphic Designer, freelance Documentary Filmmaker and Design Director with a demonstrated history of teaching at the university and also working in the Cultural and Art institute of “SETAK”. Strong arts and design professional with two Bachelor degree and a Master degree focused on Design and Visual Communication.
