Michael Bean is a native of southern Missouri, where at a young age he received Christ and was filled with the Holy Spirit. In his early twenties, he followed the call of the Lord to be in the ministry and has been a pastor for over thirty years pastoring churches in Illinois and Indiana. He has served as an educator and been on short-term mission trips where he has taught in schools, built facilities and trained pastors. As a resident of Portage, Indiana, he has pastored Crossroads Family Church for twenty years. During this time he has worked with many individuals to encourage and disciple them in their walk with the Lord. One of his favorite themes for preaching is the person and work of the Holy Spirit. He has a bachelor and master’s degree and has served on various boards within his denomination. He loves to read, look for old books and play basketball. He also likes to work around the house, go fishing and travel. He is involved with organizations within his community serving on various foundations and boards. He is married to Paula, his wife of thirty-four years. They have three children and two grandchildren. His greatest joy is to spend time with his family- especially the grandchildren.

Hello, Holy Spirit is a fifty day devotional that surveys the person and work of the Holy Spirit. It is designed to encourage personal Bible study, and promotes meditation through a reflection offered at the end of every passage. A daily journal is included for your personal entries as the Holy Spirit touches your mind and spirit. These fifty devotionals about the Holy Spirit can fit into the fifty day timeline between the Passover and the Day of Pentecost. Both feasts were an important part of Old Testament worship, symbolically pointing to their fulfillment in Jesus Christ. The goal of this study is for you to not only know about the Holy Spirit, but to know the Holy Spirit personally. He longs to be your friend and have communion with you every day. As you engage in this devotional, may you begin each session as if greeting your best friend by saying, “Hello, Holy Spirit.”Les informations fournies dans la section « A propos du livre » peuvent faire référence à une autre édition de ce titre.
