Synopsis
Level UP! Learning Chess through Chess Challenges is a companion book to the teaching book, Learn Chess the Fun and Easy Way, by Stephen Cremé. Level UP! contains challenges that create a fun, engaging environment for students of all levels and improve their critical thinking skills through learning to play the game of chess. This book was created to facilitate the study of chess in a classroom environment with multiple students, but can be used even in smaller groups more typical of home-school or cooperative settings. This book is designed to be useful for the truly beginner chess student who is just learning the game, or by students who already know the basics of the game and want to improve their skills. A typical student will complete the challenges in approximately one scholastic year (two semesters).
