Disaster offers two choices: you can either crumple in defeat or view the losses as a journey of healing.
After a massive wildfire destroyed her home and hundreds more, Shauna Hoey was immobilized by grief and tormented by nightmares and anxiety. Through her own research, trauma counseling, and the love of family and friends, she painstakingly found the path to healing.
Are you or someone you know experiencing any of the following? If so, Fire of Hope offers many keys to regaining your health and happiness.
Shauna L. Hoey wrote Fire of Hope to show how you, your family, and your community can heal from trauma and thrive again. It looks deeply into the personal stories of the author and key people in her support circle who were also devastated by the fire. The lessons they share will touch, enlighten, and perhaps, surprise you. It also offers guidance from trauma experts that will benefit you.
